Constantly updating our website is a top priority for our company. We want to show anyone who visits the site what we are working on, who we are working with, and answer any questions that someone may have about our company.

When this homeowner set up an estimate she cited the Karen’s Company website as the reason for her call. She explained she had a small project that would occupy a few of our painters for a couple of days.

During her estimate She and Karen discussed staining both the entry area stair railing and the powder room vanity. It was decided that both would be black regal semi gloss stain. This meant we had to sand off the existing two-tone stain on the banister.

Before:

We began by de-glossing and scuff sanding. We then masked off the white balusters to ensure that stain would be isolated to only the necessary areas. Once the area was set up we began applying primer which was quickly followed by the black stain. In between coats, our painters, sanded the area to ensure that the final product was smooth. When the railings were complete we unmasked the area to make it look clean and orderly.

From there we moved on to the Powder room vanity. The homeowner asked that we work on both sides of all doors and exterior faces of the cabinet bodies. To do so we had to remove all the doors, sand, and liquid sand each. By doing so we were able to get all of the previous stain off the doors and begin applying fresh primer and stain.

Overall this Erie home occupied our painter’s (Danielle, Alexis, and Stephanie) time for a few days the week between Christmas and New years. And to think it was all thanks to a few minor update to our website on a weekly basis.
