Friends Who Have A Wine Cellar In Need Of Some Paint Is a Painting Company's Dream Come True!
Posted Nov 30, 2016
This complex project in Boulder occupied our time for about eight days. When we first heard about it we were overjoyed to get the opportunity to put our creative minds to the test. This friend and repeat customer had come to Karen and asked her what she should do with such a remarkable space. She and Karen discussed at length the need for this unique area to have a unique design as well. After going back-and-forth on decorative painting ideas the two came to the conclusion that a vineyard in a wine cellar was just creative enough to work!
Right away we began planning for the space collaborating with the homeowner as well as our experienced decorative painters, Sue and Danielle. These ladies committed to spending well over a week tossing ideas around, sketching them out, and painting them on the curved ceiling of an unmistakable wine cellar.
As you can see from these pictures, Sue did an amazing job with the decorative painting. She used techniques such as texturing, shading, and extensive fine detailing to enhance the final product. As we look at this project, we are able to recognize the stellar craftsmanship of our painters and we are so thankful for amazing friends who allow us to test ideas on their one-of-a-kind wine cellar.
