Karen's Company is experienced in prepping and painting or staining the exteriors of homes, buildings, decks and fences.  In Colorado’s climate extremes (everything from hot, sunny, dry weather to sub-zero temperatures with plenty of snow) your house’s exterior can really take a beating.  We can help you protect it with the proper painting and staining. 

Our services include:

1. Painting wood siding and trim of the structure

Preparation/painting may include:

• Power washing of structure
• Scraping off all existing peeling paint
• Sanding peeling/rough areas
• Replacing loose nails with screws
• Applying our special “gluing primer” to all peeling and cracked areas
• Applying wood filler or exterior spackle to large holes or cracks
• Applying primer to all peeling, cracked, or filled areas or areas exhibiting "paint failure"
• Caulking cracks, siding/trim, siding/siding, or trim/trim joints
• Applying two coats of new paint to all areas to be painted

2. Staining exterior siding or trim

Preparation/painting may include:

• Power washing of structure
• Scraping, and sanding as needed
• Applying stain

3. Staining decks

Preparation/painting may include:

• Power washing
• Applying "deck wash" to remove discolorations
• Sanding
• Replacing loose nails or screws of structure
• Applying stain to deck

4. Staining fences

Preparation/painting may include:

• Power washing
• Replacing loose nails or screws
• Applying stain to the fence
